These can include signing that 10X engineer, landing an early lighthouse customer, or bringing on board an executive leader who knows the path to success. I am extremely proud of our 19-person strong and growing engineering team, Extend has lighthouse customers across multiple industries, and now we have a supremely experienced eCommerce executive leading our revenue organization.
Please join me in welcoming Rob Pfeifer to Extend, where he will assume the role of Chief Revenue Officer. Rob oversaw numerous areas of Affirm’s business and was instrumental in winning massive clients such as Walmart, Dyson, Casper and Peloton. As he joins Extend’s executive leadership team, Rob will bring his deep understanding of the eCommerce ecosystem as well as lessons learned while helping build Affirm into a company valued at more than $3 billion.
I look forward to working very closely with Rob as we continue to build a customer-centric offering that allows any merchant to drive incremental profit by easily offering extended warranties and protection plans to their customers. Rob will build out an industry-leading revenue operations organization, including sales and business development as well as Extend’s customer success function.
Over the past six and a half years Rob worked alongside Affirm founder Max Levchin to build out multiple facets of Affirm’s business, and I look forward to having him by my side as we continue to scale Extend to serve consumers and merchants alike.
